~ To be in the right circle, you have to know yourself first.

 

~ Cycloid

 

Deep expression, twisted by circles

Round eyes look at you, and know you

Distraction and quiet strength, is disguised

In her mysterious presence

 

The harder you try to analyze her

The harder she will run in circles,

There is no obligation to give your soul

To others and a point where you already have been

 

People will naturally arrive and see the center

Where one can rest in the eye of the storm

But before, they are so fierce looking for an excuse

And hope to find it in another’s failure

 

Men just run aswell; in circles around your back

Up to a point they think you're weak prey

Power lust is not attractive, it stinks

And makes wrong circles with wrong ink

 

In the circle of life and death it

Is not important to make even bigger cycloids

The content with little, is the greatest circle

Nothing good comes with half ones...

OMG! I love this... everything comes full circle, good and bad... whether you want it to or not. Just as it says "the circle of life and death" and all things that come with it. Our choices teeter on the rim of the Cycloid....do we get sucked into the circles?

I think of the analogy "If you stand on the right side of the road you are safe, if you stand on the left side you are safe, stand in the middle and you get squished."
When you don't stick to your ideals and beliefs you don't have a direction to go and wind up lost.

another Profound wisdom comes from my dear friend... the circle of life and death is not meant to analyze but meant to understand... analyze and understanding has the same road but different in perspective/insight on how they function...that is just my thoughts... I can definitely say that life is a cycle...it goes on and on... never take a short cut for it never comes out good...like your greedy self turns out rotten..

Wise words Elisa. I think too many people spend their lives circling others, never seeing their own circle. Makes me think of stretching a first impression, looking at what those around you, have become. If that makes sense :-)

Every thing revolves around the circle but emanates from the center. Even in our own galaxy all the planets revolve our the source of light and energy ( The sun ). I feel a wisdom emanating from this piece. There is a rhythm to people. A pattern, why not a circular one? A spiral-pattern created by our own energy field, like our solar system––––the galaxy. Or a cyclone. In the center of everyone there is peace. But you have to find your way to the center, and your own circular pattern most be in tune with the others.. In order to be One.... Eli listen to me to me as I go on and on. I can be way off the original meaning of your poem, but with the great trance like music energizing me This is what I take with me ...A good poem Eli, with deep metaphysical meaning.
