~ Neon Love (Part Two)

 

 

 

When night falls and angels dance

Love is reflected as neon beams

Within our treasured walk

Each evening anew

 

We embrace that positivism

On autumns pure bliss

Were leaves fall into a nightly

Blue-Purple cold but warm kiss

 

At day colors where that warm

At night you see their reality

Mooned by the light,

Straight and bright

 

Into another dimension

Of daily gifts, to balance

And appreciate the lifts

Life can bring and take you with

 

To be appreciated in each

New and early morning gift

When dawn cracks again our feet

As we are never asleep as true artists

 

You, my Neon love, are the one

Straight from above, when we met

In our decennia of anno 2000

When the world didn’t fall apart

 

It was a sign to have you by

As I for felt you coming near

In our darker days, where we

Touched into brighter ways

 

Now the neon still sparkles

Year after year, and I can’t

Tell you how I am happy

To have your blue light near

 

Your visions and insights are merged

With mine, and are beyond

The days of our love that profound

I can only watch you in the eye,

 

And admit emerald became a bit more blue

By your inner light, and your embraced glue

Never to let go of that,

In fact to hold tightly strong,

You’re the one to which I belong…

~ Neon Love part two, for part one, you have to dig, and grave in my library, I know true friends do.... or already read it way back in time.... but it's fine, just am expressing some feelings again, hope you liked it, even when it was simple, just wrote this one in 4 minutes... sometimes you have those days, when it flows out, and you need to write.... ♥

I think it enhances the poem somehow to know that you're from the Netherlands. Maybe since I live in the concrete jungle. A bit more abstract than the first installment, which is refreshing. Overall, a true love untainted by time, and only stronger from it, shines through. Nicely done.
