The title for this one really grabbed my attention! I was looking forward to dive into this one, and I wasn't dissapointed !!! Puppets as inanimated objects, puppets as children toys, puppets as hopeless human beings, going through the routine, having their strings pulled by an unseen presence... "The puppets dance schizophrenic" There is such power and rythym in your words, they scream to be repeated and to be taken far across the land! Your style is quite unique, halfway between reality (the heart) and dreamland (the imagination). "At your own waking dream" indeed... Another fascinating read, thank you for sharing!

This is so thought provoking, leaving me wonder who we are to say what others see isnt really there, in some other dimension or consciousness. Maybe they have tapped or been trapped into a piece of the mind we cannot visit or understand. The last line is such a beautiful way of putting into words, a feeling we cannot feel.
Lines that I, and possibly everyone, can relate to. Just beautiful. I think this is maybe the singualr poem I've read of yours that doesn't necessarily end happily.

The rest is balanced utterly positive, or negative, as I rarely write in the middle, while I'm actually am, and dwell.... I know I'm weird. xoxo

Weird is creative. Dwelling can be good and bad, I wish you and your friend peace.

Very deep and powerful write. Hard to read something that a person goes through, but you made the reader have an idea of what it's like to have this disease.

I want to give an idea, how it is, and how I talk with them. (in their world) I am no runnaway-er for this, and I wanted to break open the angst to it. While that is not necessary at all, they are still with us, only dreaming in their imagination. Thanks again. x
Very cool. My wife is sitting beside me watching tv, she leaned over and read and said she liked it a lot and she doesn't like many poems I have her read, haha.

Mind twisting, and creative. There are times I have been unable to account for whole hours at a time, lost in the crevices and recesses of my thoughts. Of my mind. It is very powerful inside of there. So you help us to imagine what it must be like to be truly lost, inside of our minds. Thank you for sharing this one, Eli.

It is very interesting how each other psychosis works, some have it harder than others, It was a glimpse of one talk I had with one... in a quarter/ 15 min, then another personality came over. And the radio spoke lyrics to her.... interesting. Thank you so much dear.
