Leading hue, within the drama

Desert in your sunshine, the petal

To be green, and minty after all the thirst

Into the light as darker days droned

Take me with your embrace

Of the perfect and rich swan neck with a

Long curl, touching the lips

Of your love in shiny pecked prickles

Let us be forever swans,

Dark haired, with white hearts

Love felt underneath high pressure

Never again so much enlightened

First, photo as well as font's hue is my favorite.
Second, I always love poem presented in an enjambment style, with this I find poetic persona's voice in a calm tone which I like.
I just don't appreciate how the dancing evolve with the time, but in the bible, it is being said that the purest form of expressing intense elation and/or joy (euphoria)is by drinking wine and by dancing. I would like to keep the purpose of dancing like the old way, thank you for the chosen title and for the notes Dear Eli. They reminded me of those old thoughts. Especially that you speak about it in relation to culture (in Europe it is Passion ). I love cultural dance. One simple dance can speak a lot about beliefs and ways of life of an ethnic group.

About your name, I think I understand it. Language varies in term of sound segment.
It has something to do with phonetics and phonology which we can study in Linguistics.

So sweet and wise dear Sister, how I could expect different from you, you're the brain on WC, I love this. You're right in your questions.... for me when I dance, as I was an old dancer, in my younger years, it was just that release I didn't thought of anything else, let myself fully go, and almost flied.... sometimes I miss those years... and I feel year-sick if that is a proper English term, like homesick.... I wish I could go back in time now and then and re- live my youth and do it 1000 times more and better.... I thank you for your insights on this review, really, they mean the world to me. From you I learn. I feel honored you liked my explanation. You're so right, In Italy they call me Eli, here on WC nobody understands as it is seen as a "MALE name" and they prefer the English Ellie :) but Eli is pronounced like Amy, in English, European way, it is funny how all is phoneticly influenced and so on... Oh, the euphoria of the dance... to be completely abandoned in the power of the music. When the brain shuts down, and the body alone takes over, the movements, and in each new note, a new life begins... "Shine, shine little star / Among our universe" Millions of stars, and new ones found daily. Yet our quest for words focus on hidden stars, not found in the night sky, but within the soul, a soul that is dancing the worries away... The words will come through the music. Maybe a "swan" will join this dance, and finally tell its story...
