~ Aurora Borealis

Under the arch of a starry sky

With a temperature well below zero

I touched your soul with my warm hands

Like an round aura, you reflected the universe

Of our love...

A labyrinth of roads that lead

In stardust, your thoughts whirl as

Small particles, and with pure reflection

My Aurora Borealis you're so beautiful, robust

And longing…

I take you into my warm cabin

Where we drink hot chocolate

The icicles are in your unshaven beard

I find you charming with your red hands

I'll warm you up…

The cold wind makes cracking our wooden hut

And along the windows shrilled the sound

In contrast with our warm fireplace

The crackling of the wood is divine

I look at you…

My Aurora Borealis, you are so handsome

With your thick winter coat still on,

As purple and green sparks reach our

Living room, where your dark hair glistens

I kiss you…

It will never be really dark

In days of love, where light shines

And see your reflection sparkle

Where I could rest by your presence

I am with you…

Wow...Just, wow!!!

The music and video actually really works well for it!! It is bold, and beautiful. It seems like it would be wrong to compare this to your other work, which is so varied, but honestly I think it feels like a new height!! There must be much in you I don't know, for this to be able to flow out so seemingly without excessive effort!!

It seems petty to have any real criticism, but I was ironically just comparing the words arch and arc and realizing what the difference was, and I might have used the word arc instead of arch in your first line, but it is quite possible you meant either...Just my own initial take.

The warmth of the first stanza comes through immediately and I can easily feel it, putting my poor poem to shame! That round aura is indeed what I feel!

Those labyrinthine roads, you pulled straight out of my mind...The narrow dirt roads I took to see the Northern Lights, my first time. It feels like you are discussing my own memories.

This is a love poem in which I cannot help but find myself. Hot cocoa and the warmth of your cabin, your hands around mine, the firelight. Your description of the wind willing to crack the cabin like a nut, but the calm of the inside is radiant description...Fantastic. "In days of love" you bring reflection new meaning...a meaning all your own. One to melt this wicked heart!

Thank you so much, for your support, and love sweetest friend x
Whither this is a lost love that no longer walks amongst us or the lover you hold close you did a masterful job giving warmth to the light that is only seen there in the cold.

Thank you for your beautiful thoughts... and review, I appreciate the two ways you have in mind. :)
'I find you charming in your red hands .. I'll warm you up ..' for some reason those are the words i find most real.

There are some happenings Man can mimic, manufacture, contol, but the Aurora Borealis comes from the place where miracles were birthed. When you find a being that makes you feel same way - then - then- then he must be heaven sent!

Meantime, I'll keep looking up!

'Tis truly one of the most majestic sights I have ever seen - only one time they were seen as far south as the state of South Carolina and I shall never forget them! Your words of love are filled with romance and the manner in which you have compared love, and caring to the beauty of such a magnificent part of creation is truly inspiring and touching!
One of my favorites from you....going in my favorite file....yes, oh yes!!
