~Macabre Magnifique

Enjoyment in small scale

Acceptance of death

By early years,

As I dance on my so

Majeur Macabre

Magnifique as liquid can burn

Your stomache for

The dance of the death

With your feet on white

Lilies light, as a feather

In the dusk of the evening

Rotate and move like a marionette

Your hair is dancing in the wind

It is the last shimmering light you see,

Until new light is being announced

In a new world full of desire

Aware just of your last dance

Your life is like music can entrust

Each felt note from your soul

From eternity, and lightly grow

In the next green timeless eras

Dear E.L.,

Excellent choice in music. I enjoy classical music as it allows a breath of art through vision. I think of a waltz between death and eternity. Wow, I just looked up what "macabre" meant and it makes me realize this is extremely darkly written. It's ironic and makes a pleasant oxymoron of bliss and death. The music plus the poem itself takes me to a night of romantic contrast between life, death, and music. Indeed there is beauty in death for death is not an ending, but a new beginning into what you have called "timeless eras." Or perhaps death gives inspiration to timeless eras of music. I find this piece to be romantic and relative to the beautiful music you have here.

My favorite lines are: "Your hair is dancing in the wind
It is the last shimmering light you see,
Until new light is being announced
In a new world full of desire
Aware just of your last dance"

Well done!

Sincerely Victorious

God bless you!

A dance of life and death within our timeless souls...The passion, the desires, the will to overcome macabre nature... But the acceptance of death as a beautiful outcome to a love filled life and adventure... When we achieve our purposes in life then we can see death as a beginning to another journey...
Awesome writes as always dear E.L....

...sounds interesting!
To dance at the last chance of death...absolutely stunning. Everything about this is artful. The subject matter I'm quite fond of. Only an eccentric mind can appreciate the beauty of it all....but no matter. It was a wonderful read El!

nice wording, great imagery, the music suits the poem well, and I for one am not a classical listener, but none the less very enjoyable.

are we not all marionettes for the Gods to play with? A grand greenhouse of who can love the most wins the prize of peace and light. I'm afraid I maybe falling behind of late in that race for the enlightenment prize, sigh...I run to you to refill, you and your lovely poetry.

you're welcome! :D
i believe that when someone dies, a new beggining arrives, taking a philospophical approach when losing someone close can sooth and support the grieving process aswell as all the adjustments one has to make in one's own life, thanks for the poem and for triggering me off....
