~Hybrid

Living next to my neighbors,

Colored by their beauty

Some are Hybrid,

Others, are pure bloods

Together we will cure and color

The world full of racism

The assumptions

And the no goods,

To be gone forever

You’re a wonderful hybrid

Beautiful Dahlia flower

Even as your colored buddy is...

So ray within your beautiful vase

And be colorful these days

Where I shall embrace

You totally,

As we live together

Colors mixed together are what makes the world a brighter place so why can't we all get along and make the world shine forever... your poem is a beautiful theme for humanity.

Thank you very much sweetheart xx
May we all be one in heart, mind and spirit as we heed the advice you offer us in your poem! We are indeed of many different colors, cultures, but we are oh so "ONE" if we will but accept that the variations just make us more interesting - the profusion of variety of foods, dress, manner of expression, language we speak....so enjoyable!
It is wonderful you feel as this, as I also do!!

Thank you Sheila for your wonderful review, so glad we all are neighbors, and lovely souls :)
I like this. My dad wrote a poem once that reminded me a lot of this. I think it is a great poem and is very relatable!

Thank you very much, for your time, and your review.
Artists and poets and enlightened people see the beauty and power in others regardless of racism and color... It is those fences we have to climb and peer into the garden of others to see another forms of beauty ...
Nice message and words...

The flowers are beautiful. I like the description of them in your poem. I had to read the beautiful poem a few times. A positive poem for a morning read. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
