We want peace

We want peace

A Poem by
"

This is the poem dedicated to those innocent people who are victims of war. What might they think about the world? Read and know.

"

We want in this world only peace,
For our lives we want ease,
In this world of arm, gun and weapon,
Within it, the injury that deepen,
In this world of troops of ranger,
making our world of rising danger,
Weeping, wailing, whimpering and groaning,
People suffering, crying and moaning,
Sadness, sorrow pain or grief,
None to give us aid or relief,
cruel world have left us homeless,
Why have they become so merciless?

Shortage of water
Shortage of food
Beg them for all these, brings no good.
What we drink and what we eat,
They only strike, attack and beat,
for how many days, are we  left like this,
forcing us more how we could all live,
why the world have been cruel to us,

Why we are left being suffering,
Don’t they dare caring us?
Why have they kept us ignoring,
Can’t we live only just like brothers?
Only to make us working together,
Rather going against one another
Making us sadder and sadder?

We have nothing,
Now can’t do anything; except

Staring at the world, can we only sigh?
Thinking ever giving peace a try
Wondering how our love could be mistaken,
Feeling how are faiths have to be shaken,
Hoping still for the good to awake
Learning to give, rather than take
Wishing for freedom like it was before,
Praying for our lives to be no more,

If in this world we aren't be cared,

Lives of our loved ones can’t be spared,

Longing ever for war to cease,

We had to be starved and never feel secure,

Let death come and give us ease

Then we shall have cure

Then we shall have peace.

The shameful truth unveiled, raw and vivid, heartbreaking and tearful; your world is an unfair establishment right now and to that, I am truly sorrowful.

It is not right; the human sacrifice of war and power over government entities, what we pray will happen is a peace in your world before it becomes another life lost from hunger and thirst.

What pours freely from our faucets should not be held hostage of anyone. God given grains and fruits should not be stolen from the hungry.

I admire your strength and courage to speak your trials here, I feel GOD is carrying you through your tribulations and will allow peace to be upon you very soon.

You have done a beautiful thing here, keep up the peaceful thoughts, it is there - where your true strength is drawn.

Your ambition for change a righteous blend of emotion and circumstance; truth is we are God's children and will soon be at peace with Him.

I hope this finds you well and peace finds you prior to standing by His side.

Thank you for sharing your world of pain with us,

Legacy
