sitting in the rain

sitting in the rain

A Poem by

sitting in the rain feeling how the raindrops twirls down her skin
looking up so that the tears will be hidden by the rain
the grass... fresh and saddening to her
ripping it out angrily hoping for it to never grow back

getting up without the will to live she's hoping for a new world
in front of her it then appears
no flowers in bloom, sunny days or others to disturb her
the land of ice is on her new path and she will follow

walking from the rain to the snow, making her dress freeze
under a tree, deciding to play. Making a snowman
she now smiles, happily and excitingly without noticing
but still... her tears will not stop

keeps drying them of, while she don't understand
looking at her snowman. Looks like her father
"no, no, no" she thinks, she won't miss her father
but way down deep inside, she does

looking at the other world, still raining
hearing her father yelling for her, asking where she is
her feet brings her closer and closer to the rain
she's missing him, but she knows that the rains will never stop
