My Sweet Song

My Sweet Song

A Poem by

The moment is past.

My unforgiving moment is past.

The moment when he listened to my song.

My song is not of sorrow,

My song is not melancholy,

It’s jolly.

It’s divine for a feeling I have related.

It’s what my heart has created.

Still he cried.

He cried throughout the night,

Throughout the darkest night.

And I dreamt his tears.

I dreamt getting drowned into his pain.

No one could save me.

Whence someone played my song.

It flowed through my veins

And repaired my little heart,

My heart that was hurt.

And I felt, there’s nothing in the world for me.

Nothing but my song-

My sweet sweet song.

Many kind of songs. Some to make us cry and some to make us laugh. I like the internal story and the strong ending in your poem. Thank you for a excellent poem.

Wow, I can relate to this so much that I'm adding it to my shelf. beautiful, I wish that more writers write with such passion, or songwriters (because this can be a great song). :D
