![]() The CorridorA Poem byI’m running through the corridor. The dark, the lone, the quiet one. My unsteady footsteps break the silence When the raindrops outside pause. There’s the shadow I’m chasing Shadow of the locked door, Whose keys are lost On this dark corridor Where no light enters through the window. I run for the end. I run away from life that lies behind. I may not turn back. The thunder crackles outside Rattling the glass heart I wear. I do not know how endless is my path, For my desires have been corrupted. I care not how green the earth is, And blue is the sky- All that I care for or all that I see Is the dark walls beyond me. © 2011Author's Note
