But There Are Dreams That Cannot BeA Poem byI want to recreate perfection Through eloquent strings of words But my, how impossible a feat! I want to relive every warm exhale Through each mellow song I find But no sweet violin carries your tune I want to remember the outline of soft fingers Through weathered and cloudy visuals But how worn the originals become I want to erupt with bubbles of passion Through heavy vibratos and fat tears But oh, the air is thick in my throat I want to share you with the people Through mediocre teenage poetry But secrecy has an alluring, heavy scent I want to rediscover what drew you to me Through any means necessary But I'm pretty sure it's been misplaced I want to recreate perfection Through a computer screen and digital letters But my mind is deaf to all appeals
