Desperation

Desperation

A Poem by

My words don't rhyme anymore
the rhythm is gone.
Like dewdrops on leaves
on a winter morn,

that fast fade
with the maturing day,
my rhythms and rhymes
have all faded away,

into disturbing noise
and meaningless prose,
that I wish I could not hear
I wish I didn't compose.

We all feel like this at some point! How you've put it down in words is really easy to relate to my friend! Very good piece about desperation xD

Sometimes our life's experience change our hearts and so our writing changes. I've gone through the same thing lately. But I keep trying to express myself and keep going despite the differences I feel.. Your an amazing poet and all is perfect:) xx

But the poem rhymes from your soul, written with compassion and meaning. Great poem my friend.

My words have never rhyme. Better to show and tell of a world with so many great tales of good and bad. Writing is mainly emotion. When the emotion is dead. Hard to write anything. A strong poem. You open up many good questions. A excellent poem.

'that I wish I could not hear' this is so powerful. And I hate 'oh so powerful and heartfelt poetry' but that line has so much to offer.
