The road calls

The road calls

A Poem by
"

an expression..

"

My rebel heart , now beats a faster beat .

Restless , now that it has heard the call.

Like estranged lovers , the two pine to meet ,

my heart , and the road beyond the wall .

I know this feeling it is the one that led this man then a boy to leave home and stretch my horizons

Short verse flies off the tip of your lobes
like the love that drives you beyond the wall

A call to action
To get some traction
Underfoot
A wall to cross
To save the loss
Of staying put

I too feel the urge

ah a rebel is called to the road like a moth to the flame! the intrigue... temptation - what will be - and then compared to the lovers drifting aimlessly hoping to meet! nice!

I like the road when I was young. Today I still have the hunger to run away alone and wander. A very good poem. Many people can't stay in one place too lone. A excellent poem. I know the feeling of this poem.
