Paranoid

A very short description of a paranoid mind .

Fear and terror ,
have scared trust away .
They have invited suspicion,
to come and stay .

The mind , phobic , paranoid ,
in an endless search for safer .
A straight line appears crooked
on a crumpled piece of paper .

I love the last thought in this poem... it just ties it up so brilliantly. I would be tempted to split it up into couplets to make it starker but it really is very good. :) A lovely read.

awesome poem. i love the ending "a straight line appears crooked on a crumpled piece of paper." i think this is a very wise line, not everything is as it seems. especially through the eyes of a paranoid person, they usually see and hear things that arent really there. awesome.

i really enjoyed this. his paranoia, searching for straight lines, when nothing can be straight due to the disease in his mind... i'm a little in awe by how well that crumbled piece of paper works as an analogy. ...beautiful

This piece is quite gripping and captivating indeed, lovely. Please add one more stanza I feel like you just stopped abruptly as it was just beggining to gain momentum, but it is quite good as it is so its just up to you brilliant writer to add on it or not to however it is very good.
