Rock and Sea

Crash against me, I will not erode

from intense heat and crushing pressure 

I was formed 

and I will stand the test of time

for you, all for you.

Your rain falls down on me

torrential, acidic, cutting shards of hale

I remain whole, intact, unmoving

for you, all for you.

The earth moves, tsunami waves engulf me

from the core new expansion, contraction 

evolution in molten lava

cooled in your embrace, made solid, unbreakable

for you, all for you.

The gravity of the moon, creating the tides

rushing in, to wash you up on the shore

pulling out, dragging you back to the depths

Submerge me, expose me

cling to me, I remain unchanged

for you, all for you.

When you are still, placid, serene

wrapped around me, gently lapping against me

you sparkle in the sun, and in the moonlight

I see my love for you reflected back at me

for me, all for me.

loved how you picture yourself made solid and strong as a rock to take all his shocks
to stand his rains and not get wet ,no to dry him up,and pull him back on feet
all for him,as the waves tossed him to your shores you will take what remains
and rebuild to be strong ,and when that is..and in your arms now its your turn
