A Poem by

If feelings of a battle

Brew deep within our minds

I often wonder

Why

Do we have to be so shy , as the clouds

On a rainy day

Can we not ask the rain

That seeps from the sky

To wash the blood away

To clear a path

Inside our thoughts

So the sun may shine

To live another day

With the warmth

of a babies smile

With innocence

Of wonderment

Of an enchanted world
