The first day I saw the guy it was a Tuesday night.
He was the drummer in a band that was playing one night only, filling in for a band that had got food poisoning. They were from town, and yet I didn’t know anyone in the new band.
They were really good. He was really good.
Izzy, my friend who came with me, had to be the last out because her family owned the club.
I hung around with her family, helping clean up.
The substitute band hung around, and helped too, once their things were packed up and loaded away.
He was walking backwards, and bumped into me on the way out.
I saw his gold eyes for the first time. They were hazel, but brighter, so gold. He had blonde dyed blue hair. It was really cool.
“Sorry.” He grabbed my arm as I tried to steady myself.
I smiled thanks.
I I I
Today I found a girl who liked rock, who banged her head to screamo. It’s hard to find anyone like that, let alone a hot girl.
She seemed pretty ticked off, though, when I bumped into her. That might be a deal breaker.
She had black hair with purple and pink streaks. Her eyes were an electrifying blue, and her skin was so white, like Snow White, but not sickly.
I should have gotten a name, a number. Heck, even a city would have helped.
I missed this girl and I didn’t even know her. I didn’t know anything about her. All I knew is that she was real and I needed her.
