Something Real.

A poem that I wrote a while back for that someone special of mine. ;P

When I see your face, a smile instantly grows without distaste.

I can't hold these feelings back, especially when generosity isn't something you lack.

I don't know what I did to have someone like you, but there isn't a day when you let me be blue.

Never have I felt something like this before and I know that your personality is something to adore.

Just seeing a text from you brings up a smile, so would you keep it up for a while?

The way that you talk makes my heart stop.

When you sing, it's like we're in another world, just you and me.

The only reason I watch what you do is because I've never found somebody quite like you.

It's easy to just be me, especially when I feel this free.

While I'm in this trance, I realize that I'm glad we decided to give this a chance.

Imperfections and flaws are nothing and, honestly, I'm definetly not bluffing.

It seems as though I can tell you anything without having to worry about my heart aching.

Your words clear out all confusion and pain, slowly ending my suffering.

You're everything that I've asked for and even more.

Every day I pray that God will be in the middle of each day.

Even if I can't find the right words to say, it doesn't matter anyway.

Your expression says it all, never rude nor dull.

Things really aren't forced, but come naturally, you see.

Patience is the key and perhaps even - in our lives - a masterpiece.

They don't come often much, people like you,

So I know that something like this is true.

I hope you know that you really mean something to me and that this isn't just a false catastrophe.

Today is dedicated all to you; someone who has made the sky seem so much more blue.

Live up today as much as you want, it's your day to flaunt all that you've got.
