The Lady of The Lake

The Lady of The Lake

A Poem by
"

Based in Medieval age.

"

I’ve dressed her in a magnificent dress

And brought her here, in time, of

Twilight.

By the lake I’ve brought her

Through winding paths in the woods

She is asleep in aching arms,

And aching heart.

Tender is she. Fragile. Not cursed.

“But curses hide

Deep inside

Where insanity proclaims

itself."

So was built a nest of brambles.

Of leaves and twigs and boughs.

There I place her and there she stays.

Protect her mountains, and hide her trees

Let peace be where she goes.

“Uncurse my Lady

The Lady of the Lake

Of tragic deceitful woes.”

Great imagery, pervasive sense of sorrow. Perhaps a bit of polishing for the last three lines of the third verse?
