Mother Nature's Loss

Mother Nature's Loss

A Poem by
"

This is a song I made to describe how the human population is dying from poverty, war, and hunger.

"

Why do the needy walk on mud,

While Dorothy skips on golden bricks?

And why does G-d ignore the desperate while bless the unaware?

Why do soldiers forget the blood they shed

Yet the mourners stand by their graves?

I want to see ghosts again

Chorus:

We live in a world of poverty, war & hunger

And the people involved are getting younger.

Peace will keep our morale stronger,

And with hope, Mother Nature will love us longer.

End of chorus

Now when was the last time someone said thank you?

Or a man pushed a woman’s chair in for her?

Cattilian and edicate classes have cobwebs on the chairs

And the only people who attend go for truth or dares.

I wish they would visit us again

We live in a world of poverty, war & hunger

And the people involved are getting younger.

Peace will keep our morale stronger,

And with hope, Mother Nature will love us longer.

Why does our world have more blood than cold water?

Why does our country care about more oil than droughts & fire?

Spending more on war than education & preventing

Bloodshed from coming back to Heaven

I wish I could see water again

We live in a world of poverty, war & hunger

And the people involved are getting younger.

Peace will keep our morale stronger,

And with hope, Mother Nature will love us longer.

Why are children raised how to hold and shoot a gun,

But dream on retiring to tell their stories and why they’re not done?

How can manliness be determined by the lives men take,

And not by the lives they saved?

I want to see ghosts again

We live in a world of poverty, war & hunger

And the people involved are getting younger.

Peace will keep our morale stronger,

And with hope, Mother Nature will love us longer.

I can't live this world full of bloodshed and dying

Where Dorothy's golden

The beggars gone hungry

I want to live a life that's full of surprises

Where the obvious becomes the oblivious.

We live in a world of poverty, war & hunger

And the people involved are getting younger.

Peace will keep our morale stronger,

And with hope, Mother Nature will love us longer.
