Bad Moments To Be Gone

Bad Moments To Be Gone

A Poem by
"

So one of my really good friends was having a terrible time at school so I decided to write her a poem, and I don't usually write poems so this was a challenge for me.

"

I'm sorry you had such a rough day
And nothing seemed to go your way
I'm sorry things were going all wrong
It's hard to see a young woman, so strong
To be shaken to the core
And when I asked you before
All you did was shake your head
And smiled a small smile full of dread
You said you were fine, and that's ok
Because at that moment I began to pray
I prayed that things would get better for you
And has the minutes ticked by, my wish came true
You began to smile again
And I knew it was then
That you were you once more
You weren't the girl looking towards the floor
With evidence of tears on her face
It was evident you didn't want the embraces
But everyone who saw you just panicked
And after that, everything just went mechanic
We walked with no purpose, with no soul
And you smiled, the bells began to toll
I'm sorry, Love, for the horrid moments you had
But do not fear, for their are those clad
In nothing but smiles and love
Who think the world of you.

Prayer is the most powerful force of good in the earth. I appreciate the capturing of the turn of events via prayer. For sure our world would be such a better place to live if everyone prayed in spirit and truth. Thanks for sharing.
