The Notebook

The Notebook

A Poem by
"

The park, soft wind, a couple and yet.. they are not alive yet.

"

In the gentle rain.

Hand in hand,

Hearts bonding in love.

They talk and laugh.

He points to a blue bird,

She looks, he kisses her.

She embraces him.

They dance in the park,

With the leaves floating in the wind,

They set on a bench,

Never losing sight of each other’s love.

He picked a dainty flower,

Showed it to her,

Picked a petal off.

“She loves me, she loves me not.”

She took the flower

Tossed it over his back,

Laughed and kissed him.

Together, they watched

The sunset,

Embraced and joined in affection.

They watched the stars,

Smiled and bonded in

Love, spirit and heart..

My tears fall ever so slowly,

Sadly, I put down my pen,

If I could really make my writing

Become reality..

I close my notebook,

To let the characters

Bloom in the name of Love.

I am in total agreement! At least the characters can be real in our imaginations! I love how you underlined and bolded the line "Bloom in the name of Love." You made that beautiful line pop right out! This poem is simple; there are no complicated words or ryhming schemes. And yet it is delicate and profound. I am in love with your poem about love! Excellent work!

Sometimes fantasy is a much needed break from reality… I didn't see that ending coming. Such wonderfully romantic images you conjured up.

Heyy, Nisha ... Glad to be on your pages once again.
I loved this write especially this one stanza ..

He picked a dainty flower,
Showed it to her,
Picked a petal off.
“She loves me, she loves me not.”

It really made me smile. I loved the whole poem, from starting to an end because the characters you've plotted here are, am damn sure, much real and it's just came from your real life. I've figured out one more this through this beautiful poem that you've written it about those moments where you lived with your handsome someone in a park and it's all what you've just captured the gratifying moments into the words to save them for life in your portfolio to remind 'em in future...

Lovely write, "Nisha" I really loved this poem. You're truly a greatest writer ever and hey, I do again wish you much luck, "May you get published soon" cus, it'd be an honor to me to read your novels holding your books in my hands reading 'em with a cup of a tea all night.

Moreover, My best wishes are always with you, Dear Nisha. Do you know, why Do I always love reading your stuffs? Because every time whenever I do stop by on your pages, always learn much from you and through your stuffs I get a beautiful perception to look around the world because your thinking about love's pure and I love reading such kinda pieces mostly.

I love the title too, that's so beautiful... "Notebook."
Wonderful!
Keep Penning, Nisha. It's always my pleasure to read your marvelous stuffs.
