Secret Admire

Secret Admire

A Poem by

Studying while the table's emblazed
with books, bored & tired
cos its all myths.

Stiffling a yawn i reach 4 distraction
fidgeting in my bag 4 some attention
...neat & plain it exerts attraction
Formal, too clean to be mine
i think as it glares boldly at me

White, rectangle envelope
what was this?
i couldnt have it amiss...
Steady, curiously the paper inside peeks
was it a letter that said keeps

Clean, lined but white on the outside
what was inside? '

'...PS: I love u...'' .. Scary words to find
keeping a routine dance in my mind
was i shocked into a bind?
Was there some snide?

what? what? ... ''Secret admire'' it said
while shock gripped my back
paralysing me into a pack
Was i being secretly admired?

Awwh, this is the first poem or work period I've read by you! I must say that it's quite wonderful too! This poem of yours reminds me of Valentine's Day because there's usually a lot of secret admirers and it's so adorable to me. There are times when it gets a little creepy though! Haha. Actually I had a secret admirer on Valentine's Day two years back. I received flowers in a vase with a card. It wasn't a secret anymore until I saw the guy eyeballing me as I examined my beautiful flowers. Your words flowed in a great tone and held my attention the whole time. Great job, indeed! :)
