Chapter 2

A Chapter by
"

Managing the hectic schedule of school, swimming, her-part time job and her crazy household situation...Leo needs to find courage and strength, but where?????

"
Rushing to her part-time job, Leo dashed across the soon-to-be red traffic light and made it across the street just in time. Cars frantically passed behind her and she thanked her lucky stars that she wasn't anywhere between the cars. Barely catching her breath, Leo ran to the cafe where she worked part-time
"You almost late, but u forgiven coz u such a hard working student"Miss J said when Leo really threw her book case and her bag pack.
"Sorry Miss J" she puffed and immediately retrieved her apron, notepad and her cap. Arranging all these quickly and neatly she practically flew to the door as it opened. Disappointment etched her face as students from her school appeared. Clearly they were the bad-boys group, they smoked pot, drank booze and practically played 'the bad-boy players'.
"Helow, can I get u guys a table?" Leo asked smoothly.
As if they had only just realized that she was there, they chatter that had been loud between them stopped and eyes flickered to her body. Whistles of appreciation, made her look at them sharply.
One of the boys at the back of the whole crew, seemed oblivious to the multiple eyes that seemed to be undressing her and answered her long-forgotten question, "Uhm...yeah we'd like a table please"
At that Leo smiled just a tad bit and asked them to follow her.
"Any day, sweetheart. Any day." A reply came
"Woooh, what an a*s. Wouldn't mind watching it all day," a lazy drawl called behind her and all the others chuckled. Embarrassment turned her cheeks pink.
"Quit it u guys, we certainly shouldn't say that." The deep-kinder voice chided.
Well honestly he's the only who seemed to somehow stand up for her. She pointed to a 7-chaired table and walked to get some menus. Opening them in front of every one of the guys, she accidentally brushed against the guy with the deep voice, a bolt of electricity traveled up her right hand. His face shot up to look her in the eye, his eyes were chocolate-brown and they glittered slightly.
"Yoh man, Liam!" One of the guys called from across the table and that broke the trance that had their glances locked on each other.
"I'll be back in five" Leo announced as she avoided the 'Liam' guy's eyes. She had a feeling this was going to be a long three-hour shift.
