The Beauty of Sadness

There is a beauty in sadness

That some will never see

They’re to scared of the drowning

To see the beauty of the sea

It can take you places

Of which you could only dream

And help you realize

That things aren’t always as they seem

That the ones with the biggest smiles

Are the most broken

That their hearts are fragile

Full of words unspoken

Let the pain flow on paper

Sing the song in your heart

And then the sadness

Won’t tear you apart
