Ode to Thee Sweet Rose

What of thee oh sweet rose, sown in thy garden ye grow?

Thou dost drink in the sunlight, give thy beauty to behold.

Yeah though it is oft fleeting, save thine memory is lasting,

Thou dost dance on her senses, and thy fragrance is like gold!

From whence thou art cut off and placed in a silver vases,

Then given to M’lady, who’s most worthy of thy blooms,

Thy life is now shortened, cut off from life’s sources,

Yet thy sense the worthiness gracefully yields to thy doom.

Thy creation serves high purpose for beauty that thou dost bring.

To the eye that receives thee, beholding all thy splendor,

Rich colors, gracious curves, yeah the contours that shape thee,

Truly befitting of M’lady, in her own beauty and gender!

I pray thee continue sweet rose, to grow in thy beauty and splendor,

Thus her eyes may behold thee, with each sunrise anew,

All thy colors and hues, in the quiet morning will attend her,

Whilst thy pedals doth sparkle, bathed in fresh morning dew!
