The Gift of True Friendship

True friends are a rare and special breed,

That is woven with heavenly splendor.

There’s no focus on faults, but on each other’s needs,

For what help each can willingly render.

A Friendship not diminished, by time or space,

Nor by distance devoid of one’s human touch.

There’s no need to see one other face to face,

Yet still wanting to reach out, to help just as much.

So let me reach out friend, to send you some love,

In a Birthday Wish, designed just for you,

From a friend to a friend, it’s my prayer thereof,

That your soul fills with joy, refreshing and new.

Once again I’ve thanked Heaven, for keeping you whole,

And the Angels for surrounding you, preciously near;

For keeping you safely from all harm, ‘ere you go,

And for driving away, your every last fear!

So Celebrate! Celebrate, this special time of year dear friend,

You’ve earned the right, stayed in the fight; it’s time to seize the day!

With love from family and friends, and this poem I’ve humbly penned,

A gift of true friendship sent to you, in this fragrantly worded bouquet.

A lucky recipient to have a friend such as you.

Within the words one can sense a deep and heartfelt friendship, for those that are lucky enough to have shared such a moment in time we can all relate.

Very Nice X
