Awesome Is SheA Poem by La'La Novel
She is clothed in His love,
She is laced in the beauty of His mercy, Gifted with His strength, And to worship Him she gives her every breathe, She holds His values in heart, And finds comfort His way, She believes in all He promises, And even in tough times, she chooses to walk His way. She remains chaste until the night she marries, Only then shalt she allow her fruit of splendour and joy in another be sewn. Her character brings light in darkness, Grants Peace to a storm, Gives Hope where there hath never lived Faith, And holds courage out for the frail to bathe their weakened souls in, She takes pride in her appearance, for her eyes are the pillars to her grace and undefined excellence. And when compared to man, She is strong yet fragile, Prude yet rather confident in herself, She takes no pleasure in arousal but is playful in her thoughts, Thus many take no note of her tears for they too are clothed in a facade of happiness, A happiness that holds her together when all else fails, A happiness that was gifted to her by her Father in hopes that she'd run to it and somehow turn it's light into a reality when she feels she can no longer carry on. Take no note of her tears, for they too are clothed in a facade of happiness, One that paints her as bold and not tired, Only tearful in times that are called for celebration, And although most never notice, She is a Ruth and an Esther, Her longevity is that of Martha's because she is as truthful as Mary, She is a woman, She is man's strength when he is weak, And his compass when he finds himself lost in a world filled with nothingness, She teaches him the ways of love when he breathes the literal stretches of animosity, She shows him kindness in order to break the walls that have his heart bound in hatred; This woman is Godly not only in stature but maturity, Chaste maybe not physically, but she still defines purity. © 2014 La'La Novel |
