The Seasons Rose and Fell

The Seasons Rose and Fell

A Poem by Outdated Account

The roses bloom at apex,
The highest point of Spring,
Another mountain in the range
Where beauty loudly rings.

The petals descend eventually
As Summer gives in to Fall,
An avalanche of silken red
From so many things so small.

Red, orange, and fading gold,
Remnants of glowing warmth,
Heat the frozen canyons
Of Winter rising forth.
