Our Place Is Not So Special After All

I found a place

To meet my dreams

Under a weeping

Willow tree.

Warping light,

A beauty

With the flashing

Breeze.

By the bridge,

By the stream,

By the frigid

Oaken beam

A rock lays

Drowning;

Exactly where

I left it.

Recall the days

I spent before

I dreamed I ever

Dreamed for more.

I slept to wake,

Not to see,

The impossibilities

I could never be.

Months that passed

In a single night,

Lives I spent

Just to die.

Where was that home

I dreamed,

Where I lived and loved,

And was redeemed.

A place long past

And drowned in clouds,

That billow

Like fog.

That place

Beneath the willow

Was no place,

After all.

I found my mind really pondering and identfying wtih the meaning behind your words. Hmmm. Seeking to release the reality within my experience and how to express it is work. This was a very interesting a thought provoking write; intriguing. thought provoking. Thank you very much for writing this.

Thank you for the review :) means a lot. I honestly wish I remember what promoted me to write this, all I know now after getting it out of my system is that I wrote it after listening to the song "Our Special Place" by The Queenstons (under the lap fox label)... still, thanks.

I really appreciated that peice!
It was well written and very deep, I can't assure you that I'm the best person to listen to because I am no expert at poetry, but you amazed me!
The only things I would fix are probably a few things that are out of beat and some verses that don't rhyme. If that was intentional, feel free to correct me. I am lost when it comes to poetry, haha.
