Embody The Unspoken

Embody The Unspoken

A Poem by Worldbreaker
"

Most of my poetry is intensely personal, and often harrowing, but this is much gentler than most, so it's kind of a 'toe dipped in a different pool'.

"

Embody The Unspoken

Two hearts beat in unison,

One to the rhythm of far thunder,

The other, a tender ostinato

Offering the melodic sweetness

In counterpoints of sympathetic harmony,

And haunting refrains of soulful longing.

She sleeps so sweet...

And as her heart plays out the symphony

Of the infinitely unspoken

To the adoring caress of my fingertips

Upon each silver sinew within...

How would I tell her?

That I would speak the silent words

Beside her cheek,

Murmuring in a somatic serenity,

And embody the unspoken

In golden words untarnished?
