Remember to Breathe.A Poem by WordsFromAPenAnxiety attacks vary from person to person but we all feel alone it's moment
Through the darkness,
Hands hold my throat And stroke, Slowly, darkly, Hot and gripping, Harder. I. Can't. Breathe. My head aches My thoughts fuzzy My eyes heavy And I might choke Breathing ragged Cheeks flushed Lungs sticking to my rib cage Limbs weak I. Can't. Breathe. But no one sees No one cares My face is white Emotionless And I gulp I gasp I choke back tears Anxiety attacks have no place around here. © 2018 WordsFromAPen |
