It was me.

It was me.

A Poem by WordsAndVoices
"

For my cousin, who died of anorexia in 2009

"

It was me,

Cause I saw you,
Just the week before,

I was angry,

We fought,

Though I knew you were ill,

I shouldn't have done it,

I know that now,

But you were annoying me,

Even though I told you I didn't care,

You never had much of a life anyway,

Just living to 16,

Even if you had been older,

I doubt you'd have learnt as much as I know,

Cause all that you were interested in was,

Boys, and whether you looked fat in your clothes,

All you did was,

Shop, and talk some more about boys,

You were boring,

I'm not sorry that you're dead,

But I am sorry,

That you had to bring the rest of us down too.

Ouch...
"You were boring,

very bold and candid, and not many people would have the courage or the honesty to say that...
