Drug Usage
A Story by Incognito
I think I will end this one short as it is such a large topic im afraid I could go on for days discussing every little detail =) leave a comment with your own thoughts and well discuss some more eh? Look forward to seeing you all soon.
If you are or h
What fun filled topic have you found for us now WOTW? Drugs. I grew up in a small town where drugs were not highly publicized whatsoever, but into my high school and later years went to a school where the drug and crime rate were not something to be admired. I had a friend who had sworn to herself and others she would never be seen doing any kind of drug ever! There was even a point where I had considered doing something and she had talked me out of it, pointing out all the bad points of it and just completely mutilating the thoughts I had. She sounds pretty awesome right? No,
The other day this girl texted me on my cell, and she says “hey I have some bad news… “
So I’m thinking okay what is it? Is she pregnant or something? Hah. Anyway she says “my friend is coming into state next week…” why is that bad though?
“she’s going to smoke me up.” WOOOAHH what? This is the girl that talked me out of the very thing!
Why are drugs so seductive to so many people? You fall into depression and decide the only way out is clouding your mind with false “high”? what happens when you wake up afterwards and there the depression is again, creeping up on you? You just go ahead and get high again? Is that any way to live life? What ever happened to children growing up and chasing their dreams? “Oh dreams never go away, I can always fall back on that.”
I got news for everyone, no dreams don’t go away, but you get into the endless spiral of drugs and you turn your back on them. People say they know they are bad, they just don’t care. They want the pain to go away. But do drugs really do that? They just mask it for a temporary time, and if your lucky you wont wake up in a jail cell.
That’s the thing about drug users though, there are many different types. Some use them to escape pain, some just have formed it into a lifestyle, and some simply do it because friends do it. Well I lead a pretty content life, and I can honestly say I have never done drugs. Does that mean I cannot discuss how it is simply melting the worlds intelligence? No, I don’t believe so. I have been extremely close to several forms of drugs and seen the effects of them on many of my close friends. I realize this is an enormous controversial topic which I cannot even begin to dream of resolving, but I mean come on open your foolish eyes! What good comes of drugs?
A boy in the town over from me just recently graduated. He was a drug user yes, but also a very successful child for his age, which was just above eighteen. He graduated from his high school being given a very nice academic scholarship to a very nice college. Did he overdose? Did the drugs he was doing end up being his demise? Not exactly.
The crowds that use drugs are not very pleasant. Enter second child. Not particular a punk or anything, just another drug user who was a little short on cash. He sets up a date with user one in order to sell him a pound of weed. User one shows up with 1200 bucks on him, hoping to get enough drugs to last him a while so he wouldn’t risk being caught buying it constantly. Well, user two pulls out a gun and blows him away, taking the cash and fleeing.
Nice crowd to be associated with huh? There were three people in the killing party, which if they spread the cash evenly would produce 400 bucks a piece. Apparently life is only worth 400 bucks. Do you realize how pathetic that is?
Instead of drugs, when sadness strikes, dwell within yourself to find answers. Art is a popular outlet. Write poetry, pour your soul into the work. Don’t turn into something you aren’t. never give up on your dreams.

I'm a daily stoner, and I'm sucsessfull. I've got it all. And I help people. So I strongly disagree with this one. Marijuana is harmless, and magnifys life's beauty. I get it from safe people I know, not strange druggie dealers. It depends where you grow up. My area is safe and open with it. Some places, especially with rigid morals, or high crime rates, make the whole druge scene, no matter what the drug, a dangerous thing to be involved in. Where I live, so from my learned point of view, everything is normal. It's openly accepted in my family, also. Besides, Mary Jane isn't a drug, she's an herb; a plant. :) I'm stoned as I write this. :)
