How they grow

How they grow

A Poem by Wordless_Prism

Now I look up to the sky, and see snow passing by; like the floaties, I try to catch in my eye.

I want to consider the lilies of the field all day, meditate on how they grow; How they toil not, neither do they spin; to and fro.

I marvel at the sight, a child's imagination taking flight; when did I lose that inner light? When did I lose that inner might?

But don't you worry about me my love, I've seen the angels sing to me from above
I know it hurts when they shove when the world would know you've had enough
That's when you hear the voices of one's that you love, saying don't give up.

The soft snowfalls and caresses my face with a chilled hand.
When the wind ran, it carried on it snow like the dust of sand.

I have never before seen snow act as a spirit wisp
Coming down like dew, whispers its frosty wish.
