Scars never heal,

They lay on the skin

Forever reminding you that you are not perfect

Reminiscing the pain you’ve had

They hurt to the touch

Emotionally affecting as you look at them

You cover them to hide the pain

The ugliness of it all

But no matter how much you try

The memories inside remain

Imprinted there forever…
