A Changed World

A Changed World

A Poem by Tamara
"

Some thoughts...

"
Though I’m young, I am not blind
I see that the kids of today are very different from when I was young-er
Jersey Shore replaced Barney
The iPod replaced Barbies
Smartphones replaced pagers
And typing entirely swapped places with writing
For the youth of today technology controls everything
So much is easier, making us that much lazier
Unable to resort back to the old times
When we really knew the value of a dollar
When hard work, actually meant working hard.
But most of all,
When did hatred take first place before love…?
