"Season's of Life"

"Season's of Life"

A Poem by WordShifter

"Season's of Life"

There's a place that I visit
When I want to think
over a bridge to a special tree
Then to nature I can link

When I visit during the winter
It looks ugly and bent to me
So naked in this habitat
No beauty can I see

I visit during spring time
There are buds of promise to unfold
Giving birth to another season
Like in the good book I've been told

Going in the heat of summer
It has changed in many ways
Flowers they have all bloomed
Bringing joy to all my days

When I go again in fall
I see it's leaves begin to die
My memory now brings me back
As I remember Mamma's pumpkin pie

Winter always turns to spring time
As does summer turn to fall
Some seasons are not as pretty
But you better learn to love them all
