"Sunset Dinner Sail"

"Sunset Dinner Sail"

A Poem by WordShifter

"Sunset Dinner Sail"

In Hawaii we have a Bistro
With dining along the street
But I like the Sunset Dinner Sail
I'll treat if you would like to meet

The catamaran is sleek
As it skims across the waves
Even has a glass bottom
Too watch turtles in their caves

The sunset will be radiant
As we watch from a distant shore
When the hula dancers begin to move
I know you'll applaud for more

We will enjoy wine or "MaiTais"
"A Heat wave" or "Lava flow"
"Hurricane" or "Blue Hawaii"
"Tropical Itch" you better just forgo

When we eat the luau food
It's truly a Hawaiian treat
The dim candle lights will show
How fast our hearts will beat

The Tiki torch will flicker
Know this can't be wrong
For when you dance close to me
I want to hold you all night long

The moonlight sets our hearts aglow
 Stars twinkle far above
The manta rays jump for joy
For they know we are in love
