 Flowers have a meaning
 So remarkable in each way
"Cosmos" are about peace
Something I pray for you each day
 
"Lily" is about truth and hope
Something we always need
They both are important
Lord! please intercede

 
"Poppy" is for pleasure
You give it to me each day
A look and a smile
Will start me on my way
 
"Tulips" show the sunshine
That I see in your words
Everything is brighter
Even the singing of the birds
 
"Lilacs" are for "First Love"
I remember the feeling still

Now that I'm much older

I still know the thrill

 

"Dogwood" is for durability
We need support under stress
With God by our side
Our life He will bless
 
"Lily of the Valley" I remember
My grandmother used to grow
It's for happiness and humility
Something I always try to show
 
"Rose" has a message of Love,
Sweetheart, you so often send to me
 Happiness and simplicity
Just one flower speaks so much to me
