"With Your Man Walk Hand in Hand"

Sometime it's so confusing

I thought everything was fine

Then something happened

It's hard to just define

We spend lots of time together

With an amazing "connection"

I thought our feelings were real

Now I'm hurt and feel rejection

He even said the "L" word

I remember a time or two

Now it seems he is pulling away

We have a different point of view

I'll just forget it and it will go away

I'm so frustrated, red flags I see

I feel out of control and fearful

Could the problem be me

Fear of this, fear of that

That's it! To much fear

Seems to chase him away

He would rather drink a beer

He wants to get away

Because of my negative thinking

My nagging and complaining

He rather go out drinking

It makes me feel hopeless

I love and want to be for him

Now how can I get closer

It seems so mighty slim

I'm reading in this book

It says there's an attraction

It's confidence and humor

Self-esteem helps get some action

Stop all this fear and insecurity

Don't rely on a man

To fill all your needs

It's not the Master's plan

It's all about a foundation

On which you will stand

Make Christ the center of life

With your man walk hand in hand
