"The Five Love Languages"

"
"The Five Love Languages"

In a book that I have read
About love and wedded bliss
Falling in love is euphoric
It all starts with a kiss

"The Language of love" it explains
Five kinds it does teach
Everyone perceives it different
People have some of each

Some think love means
Sweetness whispered in the ear
"Words of affirmations"
Special thoughts they need to hear

Some think Love is "Quality Time"
To demonstrate the love they share
In this crazy, busy, hectic day
Must take time to show they care

Some like to "Receive Gifts"
No matter what's the price
Just a little something
Shows love, adds to life's spice

Some think "Acts of Service"
Special projects one must run
They believe it is really love
When the "Honey Do List" is done

Some think that "Physical Touch"
Is the only way love shows
Communicates marital love
The special way love grows

Everyone has their priority
All others are good too
But to feel the love they need
Only their main one will do

With all the many combination's
If like yours or not it's good to know
What does your mate want
Helps your love life to really grow

Mahalo Donna, I do appreciate the review. It's not easy condensing down a whole chapter into 4 lines, but I'm having lots of fun trying. Thanks again. Aloha, Ginger

Ms. Ginger, that was great! I love the way you expressed them all, in ways that leave little room for missing "The five love languages" It all counts. Very well expressed in rhyme.
