"Orchids"

"Orchids"

A Poem by WordShifter
"

About beautiful tropical orchid flowers

"
"ORCHIDS"

 A rainbow premieres
With soft misty showers
Often when it disappears
Leaves beautiful flowers

A tropical orchid so shiny
Grows in all shapes and color
Size from large to very tiny
Some bright others duller

The names so hard to say
Some have common names
When it boils down to it, hey
Such beauty it proclaims

Men search the trees and ground
For a new flower never seen
An unknown species to be found
Hard work is the routine

A treasure not to hoard but share
Often with fragrance so sweet
Ladies will wear them in their hair
Men will fall to their feet

Such power hiding in the shade
Only God can understand
How It could only be made
From His almighty hand

Flowers will die and so will man
Live well you have a short time
Praise the Lord all you can
Eternity waits so sublime

1Peter1:23-25

23For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. 24As the Scriptures say,

“People are like grass;

Their beauty is like a flower in the field.

The grass withers and the flower fades.

25But the word of the Lord remains forever.”

And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.
