"God's Armor for His Princess Warrior"

Inspired by Ephesians 6:13-18, God's armor,

Princess Warrior, wear the armor
In Ephesians 6 that I've written
Learn what you should daily wear
Not to by sin be smitten

A Warrior must gird the "Belt of Truth"
This world has lies and confusion
Let others see your light and faith

And be delivered from delusion

My Princess hold the "Shield of Faith"
Perhaps as small as a mustard seed
But I planted it in your heart to grow
To move mountains if you need

My Princess take the "Breastplate

Of Righteousness" I did tell
To keep you from evil's darkness

And from the gates of hell

My Lord, on my feet you have shod
The "shoes' of the gospel" of peace
In your footsteps daily I must walk
In your Word my fears release

My Princess Warrior guard your mind
With the "Helmet of Salvation"
Negative thoughts can just destroy
Instead give thanks and exhortation

Lord Your Spirit will carry me
During my warfare and combat
The "Sword of Your Spirit" has power
To conquer the enemy - just like that!

Lord one more thing may I ask
There is nothing to cover my back
My Lord said "stand ye steadfast"
And don't run from evil's attack

Now you say to front line I must go
For my life and the ones that I love
Lord your armor is always with me
And guardian angels sent from above
