The Trinity NecklaceA Poem by WordShifterTrue story about a special jewelry creationThe Trinity Necklace (Father, Son and Holy Ghost)
Lord, you make beautiful things
I see them every day Please come with me as I work We can create and really play I read about you and I know You are always with me, Lord I want your touch in all I do Surely, you would agree Lord, you made me an artist Dad, Mom, and Sis he same way
You worked with precious dust
Be my hands while in this clay
Your ancient dust is just a few colors So unlike your precious dust Which stays brilliant, mine always fades I hold the many colors of the clay Beautiful colors that mingle and melt Oh! the treatment it can withstand
I press and roll 'til nice and flat
See those incredible landscapes You're still here Lord, with all you do Beautiful designs, to cut into shapes Oh, see the "face!" Can't believe the sight Eyes look like yours, there's even a beard
Only imagined likeness have I seen But, in this clay you have just appeared! I wondered about those who saw such things I've read in the news, so crazy in the head Oh Lord!, Now it's me, but I see it so clear!
Is it possible this I could have misreadOh! It's way to much, I really can't say I see you in another place It's better yet, looking straight at me
Lord, once again, I can see your "face" It's truly one-of-a-kind' and it's mine It reminds when you bled for me
My friends, some see, some really don't Today you shared your precious love One saw a "face" that I did not see My other jewelry shines likes gold But this, of the day you spent with me Ginger Sizemore © 2011 WordShifter |
