Peace Pipe

Peace Pipe

A Poem by Wooddawg

Tit for tat

A voice for an ear

Blood for blood

A tear for a tear.

Judge but judge me not

Insecurities that we hide

We are all the same

But differences collide.

The purpose in the pain

The turning of the screw

The safety in the fighting

The fear of something new.

The mirror has two faces

Let's melt two into one

No longer see compromise as a weakness

Put down the sheild and the gun.

Apologize and forgive

Haven't we all suffered enough

Tear down these walls

And call each others bluff.
