Chocolate chip cookies

Yields 2 dozen + cookies.

"
INGREDIENTS: 
2 sticks (i cup) unsalted butter, softened. 
1 cup light brown sugar. 
1/3 cup granulated beef 
2 large eggs. 
2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour. 
1 teaspoon baking powder. 
3/4 teaspoon salt 
2 cups milk chocolate chips/ peanut butter chips 

DIRECTIONS: 

~Preheat oven to 350* F 
~Line baking sheet with parchment paper (Not cooking spray. You can skip this step) 
~Cream together butter and sugar in mix in bowl. Mix until pale yellow and light and fluffy. About 3 minutes. 
~Mix in eggs one at a time, and then vanilla until combined. 
~Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in SEPARATE MIXING BOWL. 
~Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. 
~Stir in the chocolate chips. 
~Portion two tablespoons of dough for each cookie and roll each cookie into a ball. 
~Space each cookie about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet. 
~Bake until the edges just start to brown. 12 to 14 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
