Lovely

12/2/13 - 12/3/13

I sat down in front of the screen on my computer, tears in my eyes, and got onto facebook, pulling up the page that I admined. I click on the box and typed "Goodbye everybody. I can't take this anymore." Then I clicked posted. Seconds later, I got a comment from a guy named Shane, who told me he'd be over in a few minutes. 

I walked over and sat on my bed, curling into a ball and crying. I couldn't take it anymore. Everybody hated me. I reached under my pillow and pulled out the little razor I had taken from my stepbrother's razor, pressing it against my skin, teasing myself. Tears flooded my eyes just as my bedroom door opened, and there stood a faintly familiar man. I gasped quietly, almost dropping the razor. 

He carefully walked over and slipped the razor out of my hands, sitting next to me on the bed. His shaggy, chin length, dirty blonde hair was a mess, his chocolate brown eyes full of worry as he slowly slipped his arms around me. I laid my head on his chest, crying, while he silently comforted me. 

"Shane." The name slipped through my lips, but I don't remember ever thinking of his name. 

"It's alright, baby. I'm here." He said gently, his voice almost angelic, music to my ears. 

I sniffled, and then he turned my head and leaned in, pressing his soft lips against mine, his splitting mine to fit. At first, I was startled, then I slowly leaned into it, delighted. Once we pulled apart, I smiled at him, and he gently wiped away my stray tears. 

"Feel better now, love?" He asked gently. 

I nodded. "Tell me. Why did you pick me?" 

He studied me for a second, then opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out.

I originally read this as the short story you posted on your page, but I thought I'd review it here. Like Summer says, I'm glad someone is looking out for you and making sure you are ok. And you know what? Your real life Shane is out there somewhere just waiting to be found someday. Really really well done :D
