Haunted

9/4/13 - 9/5/13

I looked around as the lights in my grandfather's house flickered on and off for a moment before completely shutting off, leaving the house lit with only candlelight. I grinned evilly and pull my baseball bat close to me, bouncing it on one hand as a dark silhouette passed by my room heading downstairs. 

"Another ghost?" I taunted the air. "Bring it." 

The lights remained off as I walked calmly out of my room, my bat at the ready, and meet up with my uncle and grandpa, who come out of their own rooms down the hall, and we all grin evilly at each other and head down the stairs after the figure, though no longer able to see it. We see a flashing light coming from the floor below us and turn the corner to find the computer monitor flashing on and off. The three of us begin heading down the stairs towards the computer, my grandpa in front, followed by my uncle, and me taking up the rear. 

"You want us to go to the computer, huh?" My grandpa teased. 

We come to the monitor and find the face of a woman with curly, faded brown hair grinning back at us, her eyes darting to the mouse next to the computer monitor. She looked like she was stuck with the eighties style hair, with one big curl on the right half of the top of her head, and another big curl on the left half of the top of her head, giving her a devilish look. Then the screen turned to a video game. 

"You want us to play a game, huh?" My uncle chuckled. 

He sat down and grabbed the mouse and began to play the game, laughing to himself. I shoved my uncle back as the monitor turned white, then the computer short circuited and sent deadly sparks through the mouse and monitor that would have killed my uncle. Once that was over, I grabbed my wooden baseball bat and smashed the computer, killing the ghost.

I like how it seems like you, your uncle and grandpa seem scarier then the ghosts. And haha bring it instantly made me think of Supernatural. Great job :)

Lol the "bring it" bit reminds me a bit of Dean Winchester from Supernatural. This is really, and you are probably tired of me saying this, wonderfully descriptive. Great write :)

Very interesting, and to have the dream twice, it must be trying to say something. That you are willing to face your fears, or that you are afraid, I wonder.
